Family days out near Salisbury
A rare breeds farm near Salisbury, Wiltshire, since 1985

Our Farm, originally a dairy farm, first opened its doors as a Rare Breeds Farm with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust in 1985, and was purchased by the McConnell family in 2002, establishing its own English vineyard, Bluestone, in 2016, which now produces award-winning English sparkling wine.
During a visit there is plenty to see and do, with the Rare Breeds Farm home to pigs, goats, sheep, a donkey, a calf, ponies, rabbits, peacocks, chickens, ducks and geese and more, plus play areas, daily activities, accommodation, a café and restaurant, and the stunning vineyard offering tours and tastings.
The farm became a legal licensed wedding venue in 2019, offering bespoke rustic farm weddings from ceremony to reception, as well as bridal showers, baby showers, christenings, naming ceremonies, anniversaries, reunions, military function parties and charity events, plus personalised children's parties.
